Marianne Infante

PAT’s Executive Director, Marianne Infante, is an award-winning Filipino actor, producer, writer and IC-in-Training based in Tāmaki Makaurau Aotearoa.

Marianne has made a lot of “NZ firsts” in establishing her career: first Filipino theatre play ‘PINAY’, first Kapampángan short-film ‘MEKENI’, and first Filipino core cast on NZ’s beloved soap drama ‘SHORTLAND STREET’ as Madonna Diaz.

Infante has been a loyal member of PAT since 2017 as a member of the community, an actor then producer and later an executive and a shareholder. She is also Te & Kuya Collaborative’s co-founder/director and Equity NZ’s (actors union) elected board member.

With a Bachelor in Performing Arts Majoring in Screen and Theatre Acting, Marianne has been empowering and advocating for underrepresented voices across Aotearoa screens and stages since 2016.
