Black Tree Bridge

BY Chye-ling huang

"EVERYONE ELSE IS HAVING MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES EXCEPT YOU"

Black Tree Bridge follows a young woman searching for direction who finds a muse in mysterious Chinese artist, Leo. But when he’s found dead a week later, she is forced to look inward as she spirals into a world of mythology, Mulan and talking eels. A finalist for the Adam NZ Play Awards, Black Tree Bridge is a contemporary story of modern day myth-making in the search for identity.
